We are a family owned and operated heavy vehicle Transport Company. Our company operates from and manages the commercial property at 858 Nudgee Road, Northgate, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, 4013 on behalf of the owners, C.N Miles & G.R Palmer & J. Palmer. This commercial property is a Class 2.2 Quarantine Approved Premises (QAP). This QAP is operated by Finitor Pty Ltd in accordance with the Industry Management Arrangements of the Australian Department of Agriculture and the Quarantine Act and Regulations 1908.

This commercial property is utilised for the processing, Quarantine inspection and fumigation of customer product, which has been imported into or is to be exported out of Australia. The QAP accredited employees of Finitor Pty Ltd, have extensive experience and are extremely effective in organising the:

·         Inspections of customer product by Biosecurity, Australian Department of Agriculture (Quarantine);

·         The provisioning of accredited fumigation services for customer product; and at

·         Loading/unloading of Less than Container Loads (LCL) and Full Container Loads (FCL), processing, storing and distributing customer product, which is to be sourced from and/or distributed to local, interstate or overseas destinations.

Our employees are also highly experienced and effective in the internet booking of import or export slots with all of the Port of Brisbane Stevedores, the slots of Australian Rail operators and for the collection and return of the shipping containers from and to the Container Parks.

This commercial property provides significant warehouse, awning and hardstands areas for processing, loading and unloading of commercial product/equipment and personal affects/equipment and for the short/long term storage of product/equipment and containers for both commercial and private use.

There are also office and warehousing storage facilities for commercial tenants, who wish to prepare and/or manufacture product for local, interstate or overseas distribution.

H F Palmer & Sons provide and operate Top Container Loading and other fork lifting vehicles with capacity ranging from 36 down to 3.5 Tons, Container Swinglifter Trailers, Curtain Sided Trailers, B-doubles and Semitrailers, Flat Top and Crane Trucks for loading/unloading containers/product and distributing throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas (Ipswich, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast). Long distance haulage either by rail and or road transportation can be effectively and efficiently organised on behalf of a customer by employees of H F Palmer & Sons.
